Letter 1918, April 11, Brooklyn, New York to Mr. Edwin Markham, Staten Island / Eugene V. Brester. 1918.

He askes Mr. Markham to sponsor him for membership into the National Institute of Arts and Letters. By joining, he hopes that this will permanently put him on the map in the art world, by the end of the year. In return, he will present him with one of his sketches. He also describes his recent exhibitions. Mr. Brewster thanks him, on behalf of LaBohame, for his presence at their recent affair. Then he invites Mr. and Mrs. Markham out on a motor trip.
